Fitness and nutrition searches rise across India as Pilates queries jump 74 percent on Justdial

Data from Justdial shows Delhi leading growth with 106 percent rise in nutrition searches, while Mumbai records 62 percent increase reflecting demand for dietary guidance

Consumer interest in fitness and nutrition services is increasing across India, with search trends indicating a shift towards structured routines and professional guidance.
Justdial Limited has reported a year on year rise in searches related to fitness and nutrition services, based on data comparing March 2024 to February 2025 with March 2025 to February 2026. The findings point to a growing focus on combining exercise with dietary planning.
Searches for nutritionists and dieticians increased by 48 percent across India. Among major cities, Delhi recorded the highest growth at 106 percent, while Mumbai saw a 62 percent rise, indicating increasing demand for professional dietary advice.

Interest in personal training services also showed growth, rising 18 percent nationally. Delhi reported a 45 percent increase, while Mumbai recorded a 5 percent rise, suggesting steady adoption of guided fitness programmes.
Pilates emerged as one of the fastest growing fitness categories, with a 74 percent increase in searches across India. Delhi registered a 77 percent rise, while Mumbai saw a 72 percent increase, reflecting growing interest in low impact, strength focused workouts.

The data indicates that consumers are moving beyond standalone fitness routines towards a more integrated approach that includes both physical training and nutritional support.
