Four Years After Forensic, Mansi Bagla Looks Ahead to Mini Films’ Next Chapter

Mansi Bagla, producer and co-founder of Mini Films, reflected on the company’s four-year journey, saying her focus remains on developing stories that connect with audiences.

Four years after the release of its first production, Forensic, Mini Films is marking a milestone that reflects the company’s journey in Hindi cinema and the growth of its founders, Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla.Founded with a focus on content-led filmmaking, Mini Films has built its portfolio through projects featuring established actors while also introducing new talent to the industry.
Looking back on the company’s journey, producer Mansi Bagla said the past four years have reinforced the importance of patience, discipline and continuous learning in filmmaking.

Speaking about the values that continue to guide her, Mansi Bagla said, “Growth is important, but so is the process that gets you there. I’ve always been selective, not just in films, but in life. Meaningful relationships, meaningful conversations and meaningful choices have shaped who I am and the stories I choose to tell. The industry teaches you many lessons through both success and experience, but through it all, I continue to choose purpose over noise.”
Mini Films was founded by Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla with the objective of producing content driven films. While Mansi oversees the creative direction, Varun Bagla manages production planning and business operations.

Reflecting on the company’s fourth anniversary, Mansi Bagla said, “When Forensic began its journey, I was driven by passion, instinct and faith. Four years later, I remain guided by the same values, but with a deeper understanding of what filmmaking truly demands. These years have taught me that success requires not just creativity, but resilience and above all, the courage to keep building through every season.”
Discussing the changing preferences of cinema audiences, she added, “This is an exciting time for Hindi cinema. Audiences today are embracing fresh ideas and stories that feel authentic and emotionally resonant. I’ve always believed that the true success of a film lies in its ability to make people feel something.”

Over the past four years, Mini Films has produced projects featuring Vikrant Massey, Radhika Apte and Prachi Desai, while also introducing Shanaya Kapoor through her debut Hindi film. The company says it will continue focusing on stories driven by strong characters and contemporary themes.
