Rheaa Noor, Author and Creator of House of Noor, recognised at Karnataka Excellence Awards 2026 for contributions to contemporary literature and inclusive storytelling
Bengaluru, March 28, 2026: Author and storyteller Rheaa Noor has been recognised at the Karnataka Excellence Awards 2026 for her contribution to contemporary literature.
The award, presented by the National Excellence Council at a ceremony in Bengaluru, acknowledges her work in the category of Inspirational Women Author and Literary Contribution.
Rheaa Noor’s writing explores themes of love, identity, memory, and belonging, with a focus on emotional depth and contemporary relationships. Her narratives also include LGBTQIA+ perspectives, contributing to more inclusive storytelling within modern Indian literature.
Since beginning her publishing journey in 2025, she has authored multiple works across poetry, fiction, and reflective writing. Her titles include The Library That Remembers, Blame It On The Wedding Season, Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before Love, Lanterns for the Dark, and When Silence Roared.
Beyond her books, Rheaa Noor is the creator of House of Noor, a platform that brings together storytelling across formats while engaging with a growing audience.
Speaking on the recognition, Rheaa Noor said writing has been a personal space to understand emotions and relationships, and the award encourages her to continue creating stories that connect with readers.
