TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of Device eXperience Division at Samsung Electronics, outlines agentic AI roadmap alongside Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy Buds4 and AI driven network innovations
Gurugram, India | March 02, 2026: Samsung Electronics unveiled its expanded presence at Mobile World Congress 2026 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, presenting a broader vision for Galaxy AI that extends across smartphones, wearables, computing devices and intelligent network infrastructure.
Building on momentum from Galaxy Unpacked, the company demonstrated how Galaxy AI is advancing toward a more agentic model designed to anticipate user needs and deliver connected, personalised experiences across the Galaxy ecosystem. Alongside mobile innovation, Samsung also presented AI driven network technologies and intelligent manufacturing initiatives.
At the centre of the exhibition is the Galaxy S26 series, introduced as Samsung’s third generation AI phone. The lineup was presented alongside the Galaxy Buds4 series, highlighting deeper integration between mobile devices and wearables.
“MWC is an opportunity to show not only where Galaxy AI is today, but where it’s going next,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of Device eXperience Division at Samsung Electronics. “From the Galaxy S26 series to emerging form factors like Galaxy XR and TriFold, we’re pushing the boundaries of what mobile technology can be, while keeping the user experience at the center of every innovation.”
The Galaxy S26 series introduces new AI driven features designed to interpret user intent and simplify tasks. Demonstrations at MWC include an industry first built in Privacy Display for mobile devices, a customised Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset powering the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and a redesigned Vapor Chamber for improved thermal stability.
The camera system integrates capture, editing and sharing within a unified workflow. Wider apertures on the Galaxy S26 Ultra are positioned to enhance low light photography, while upgraded Nightography video and Super Steady video features aim to improve clarity and stability. AI powered tools such as Photo Assist allow users to modify images using natural voice prompts, and Creative Studio supports personalised content generation.
Samsung also presented proactive AI capabilities such as Now Nudge and Now Brief, which provide contextual suggestions and schedule based briefings. Circle to Search with Google enables multi point image search, while an upgraded Bixby operates as a conversational device agent. Users can also access Gemini and Perplexity for cross app coordination through a unified interface.
Beyond smartphones, Samsung highlighted ecosystem integration across Galaxy Buds4, Galaxy Book6 Pro, Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Watch8 series, demonstrating continuity across devices for productivity, health monitoring and personalisation.
In manufacturing and enterprise, Samsung detailed its AI Driven Factories initiative, outlining a plan to transition global manufacturing operations toward AI enabled processes by 2030. The company demonstrated digital twin simulations, AI agents and real time data analysis to improve operational efficiency and quality control.
Healthcare integration was also featured through Samsung’s Connected Care vision, strengthened by its acquisition of Xealth in 2025. The integration connects health metrics from the Galaxy ecosystem with clinical workflows, enabling digital health tools and patient data to be incorporated directly into physician systems across hospital networks.
Samsung further outlined its expansion of satellite communication capabilities for select Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy S26 series. Through partnerships with telecommunications operators in North America, Europe and Japan, the feature is designed to support emergency communication in areas without traditional mobile network coverage.
The exhibition also previewed emerging form factors such as Galaxy XR and Galaxy TriFold, reflecting Samsung’s longer term direction in immersive and flexible device categories. Security and privacy commitments were reinforced through updates to Samsung Knox and hardware based protection technologies.
Within its Networks business, Samsung presented its AI vision for end to end software driven networks. Central to this approach is Samsung CognitiV Network Operations Suite, featuring Agent Fabric, a decision intelligence layer enabling multiple AI agents to manage network planning, deployment, maintenance and optimisation. The company also introduced Network in a Server, an edge AI solution consolidating network functions into a single server platform for enterprise applications.
Visitors can explore the Galaxy Experience Booth in Hall 3 at Fira Gran Via from March 2 to 5.
