Led by Founder Sinduri Reddy and Principal Trupti Rao, the two-day conference featured committees from DISEC to UNHRC, awards for young delegates, and cultural performances that celebrated youth leadership
The campus of The Premia Academy transformed into a forum of diplomacy and dialogue as students gathered for its annual Model United Nations (MUN) Conference 2025. The two-day event encouraged participants to think beyond textbooks and step into the roles of global leaders, negotiating resolutions on some of the most pressing issues of the world today.
The conference was guided by the vision of Founder Sinduri Reddy and Principal Trupti Rao, who stressed that the initiative is designed to help children grow into confident, articulate citizens who can combine academic knowledge with empathy and practical problem-solving.
Committees such as DISEC, UNHRC, UNCSW, and the All India Political Parties Meet were simulated, giving students the chance to debate topics that spanned international security, human rights, gender equality, and domestic governance. Delegates researched positions, drafted speeches, and negotiated in real time, mirroring the dynamics of global decision-making.
The event also showcased the talent and creativity of students outside the committee rooms. Cultural performances added an element of celebration to the evenings, while the awards ceremony recognised standout delegates for their preparation, leadership, and teamwork. Parents, faculty, and guests noted how the conference reflected Premia’s broader mission of nurturing not only academic excellence but also curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
For the young participants, the MUN experience was more than an academic exercise. It was an opportunity to practice diplomacy, confront differing perspectives, and discover the importance of dialogue in resolving conflict. By blending intellectual rigour with cultural exchange, The Premia Academy’s MUN 2025 underscored that tomorrow’s global leaders are already learning how to listen, debate, and act with purpose today.
