A total of 396 beneficiaries were measured for 3D printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs and calipers, while 22 were selected for free corrective surgeries.
Pune, July 6, 2026: Narayan Seva Sansthan (NSS), in association with Tata Tele Business Services and Newmann & Essar Group, organised a Mega Free Disability Screening, Corrective Surgery Selection and 3D Printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limb Measurement Camp at Alp Bachat Bhavan in Pune, benefiting 396 persons with disabilities.
A team of orthopaedic surgeons, prosthetic experts and rehabilitation professionals conducted detailed medical assessments during the camp. Following the examinations, all 396 beneficiaries were measured for Japanese and German technology based 3D printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs and calipers. Additionally, 22 beneficiaries were selected for free corrective surgeries that will be performed by Narayan Seva Sansthan to improve mobility and quality of life.
The prosthetic limbs, developed using Japanese and German technology, are designed to be lightweight, durable and customised to provide greater comfort, functionality and independence. The artificial limbs will be fitted free of cost during the next camp in Pune after the manufacturing process is completed over the next two to three months.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Raghunath Kuchik, Former Minister, Government of Maharashtra and General Secretary, Bharatiya Kamgar Sena. He appreciated Narayan Seva Sansthan’s contribution towards the rehabilitation and empowerment of persons with disabilities and encouraged greater public support for such initiatives.

Ltd.; Rahul Bohra, Founder Chairman, Rama Hospitality; Prafull Sarada, Founder Chairman, Ruchi Creation; Sanket Shah, President, Divine Jain Group; Manoj Agarwal, President, Agrawal Samaj, Yerwada; Colonel Amarendra Pandey; Prashant Pandey; Avinash Salve, Corporator, Yerwada; and Mahesh Jindam, Managing Director, Newsoft Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan, said the strong response to the camp highlighted the growing need for accessible healthcare and rehabilitation services. He added that the organisation remains committed to providing advanced medical care and assistive solutions that restore mobility, confidence and dignity.
Devendra Chaubisa, Trustee Director, Narayan Seva Sansthan, said the organisation’s work extends beyond medical treatment to holistic rehabilitation through education, skill development, self employment training, free corrective surgeries, artificial limbs, community welfare programmes and support for persons with disabilities.
Guests also interacted with beneficiaries and their families to understand the process of medical evaluation, prosthetic manufacturing and rehabilitation. The organisation arranged free meals and refreshments for all beneficiaries and attendants, while a team of 40 volunteers ensured the smooth conduct of the camp.
Since its establishment in 1985, Narayan Seva Sansthan has provided free artificial limbs to more than 39,388 beneficiaries and free medical treatment and rehabilitation services to over 4.52 lakh persons with disabilities. Founder Kailash Manav Agarwal was honoured with the Padma Shri in 2008 for his contribution to social service, while President Prashant Agarwal received the National Award in 2023 for advancing the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
