The pan India licence grants manufacturing and distribution rights to Varun S Patel and Aayush D Desai, as Brett McGonegal, Chairman, H2 GenRack, backed India’s role in hydrogen powered energy technologies.
H2 GenRack has granted a pan India manufacturing and distribution licence for its hydrogen internal combustion engine generators to Indian business leaders Varun S Patel and Aayush D Desai.
The agreement was formally approved and announced under the leadership of Brett McGonegal, Chairman, H2 GenRack. The partnership is aimed at expanding the manufacturing, distribution, sales and market presence of H2 GenRack’s hydrogen powered generator systems across India.
The move comes as India continues to build its hydrogen energy ecosystem and support clean energy manufacturing under the Make in India vision. The development also aligns with the country’s focus on green hydrogen infrastructure and sustainable industrial energy alternatives through the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
H2 GenRack’s hydrogen internal combustion generators are being positioned as a cleaner alternative to diesel generator systems used across industrial and infrastructure sectors. The technology allows hydrogen fuel use within internal combustion engines, giving businesses a route to cleaner power systems without a complete replacement of existing energy infrastructure.
The generators are expected to support different capacity needs, from smaller commercial backup systems to high capacity industrial power generation units.
The technology may be relevant for industrial manufacturing, airports, logistics hubs, infrastructure projects, commercial buildings, residential power backup, telecom, data centres and large scale industrial utilities.
Brett McGonegal, Chairman, H2 GenRack, expressed confidence in India’s potential as a key market for hydrogen powered energy technologies. He said the partnership with Varun S Patel and Aayush D Desai for the pan India licence reflects H2 GenRack’s long term commitment to India’s sustainable energy growth and industrial transformation.
Varun S Patel and Aayush D Desai said the partnership marks an important step in bringing advanced hydrogen based power solutions to Indian industries and infrastructure developers. They also highlighted their focus on creating a manufacturing and distribution ecosystem to support demand for clean and efficient energy technologies.
The collaboration is expected to support India’s hydrogen economy, indigenous clean tech manufacturing, reduction in diesel based power dependence, industrial opportunities and adoption of sustainable energy systems.
H2 GenRack develops and deploys hydrogen powered energy technologies for scalable and sustainable power generation across industrial and commercial applications.
