The Gold Award and Commendation Card were received by Vishal Bhardwaj, Head, CSR at Shree Cement, during the 13th National CSR & ESG Summit held in New Delhi.

Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director of Shree Cement Limited, said the recognition reflects the company’s focus on responsible growth and community initiatives built around inclusive and sustainable development.

New Delhi: Shree Cement Limited has received the Gold Award in the Rural & Infrastructure Development category at the CSR Times Award 2026 for its community development and social impact initiatives.
The award, along with a Commendation Card, was received on behalf of the company by Vishal Bhardwaj, Head, CSR, Shree Cement Limited, during the 13th National CSR & ESG Summit 2026 at Le Méridien, New Delhi.
The recognition was presented by Sena Latif, Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to India, and Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Former Director General and CEO of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs and Jury Chairman for the CSR Times & Bharat ESG Awards.

Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director of Shree Cement Limited, said the recognition reflects the company’s approach towards responsible growth.
“This recognition is a reflection of Shree Cement’s enduring commitment to responsible growth. We believe that the true measure of progress lies not only in the strength of the infrastructure we help build, but also in the positive impact we create in the lives of people and communities,” Akhoury said.
He added that the company would continue investing in initiatives aimed at inclusive development, resilience and sustainable progress.

The 13th National CSR & ESG Summit was organised around the theme Role of Responsible Businesses for Inclusive Bharat.
The programme brought together policymakers, diplomats, industry representatives, CSR practitioners and sustainability professionals to discuss the role businesses can play in inclusive and sustainable development.
Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was among the dignitaries attending the summit.
For Shree Cement, the recognition comes in the Rural & Infrastructure Development category, reflecting its community-focused interventions aimed at improving quality of life and supporting inclusive development.
The company said it intends to continue strengthening these initiatives as part of its contribution towards the broader vision of Viksit Bharat.
