The Bhopal store brings the brand’s Sarees of India collection to Central India, with weaves from across the country. The range includes Kantha, Baluchari, Matka and Tussar from Bengal, along with Kanjivaram, Kanchipuram and Arni silks from South India.
The collection also includes Banarasi, Katan Banarasi, Ikkat, Bandhej, Paithani, Gadwal and Uppada sarees, along with Madhya Pradesh’s Chanderi and Maheshwari traditions.
Indian Silk House Agencies works with more than 15,000 artisans across over 60 weaving clusters, connecting traditional craft communities with contemporary retail consumers.
Speaking on the launch, Darshan Dudhoria, CEO, Indian Silk House Agencies, said, “The saree is one of India’s most enduring cultural identities, yet its role in everyday life is being reimagined by a new generation. At Indian Silk House Agencies, our vision is to normalise the saree for the modern Indian woman, making it as relevant to daily expression as it is to celebration.”
He added that the Bhopal store continues the brand’s journey of taking Sarees of India to women across the country while remaining committed to the artisans behind the craft.
The launch adds another retail location to the brand’s growing national network and brings its saree focused platform to one of Central India’s key cultural markets.
