The month-long Independence Day campaign runs from July 25 to August 15, culminating in a theatrical presentation tracing India’s journey from ancient civilisations and the freedom movement to contemporary India.

Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru is bringing folk and classical traditions from across India together through #WeAreBhartiya, a month-long cultural campaign running from July 25 to August 15.
Spread across four weekends, the programme features music, dance, storytelling, traditional art forms and themed cultural presentations representing different regions of the country.
The performances include Rajasthan’s Ghoomar, Maharashtra’s Lavani, Punjab’s Bhangra, Assam’s Bihu, Karnataka’s Dollu Kunitha, Tamil Nadu’s Bharatanatyam and Kerala’s Mohiniyattam, along with other regional forms.

The campaign has been designed as an Independence Day season programme for families, cultural enthusiasts and visitors across age groups.
Its final programme will take place on August 15 with an Independence Day theatrical presentation from 6 PM onwards.
The showcase will trace India’s journey through ancient civilisations, major empires, the freedom movement, the post-Independence period, women’s empowerment and the country’s continuing development as a democracy.

Dance, music, costumes and dramatic storytelling will be used through the presentation, which will conclude with a Bharath Mata entry and a musical tribute centred on national unity.
The campaign seeks to bring cultural traditions from different states into a common space, allowing visitors to experience multiple regional art forms during the same programme.
Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru has positioned #WeAreBhartiya around India’s diversity across languages, regions and generations, with cultural performance forming the central element of the month-long celebration.
The August 15 programme does not require prior registration.
