Dimple Jangda, National Bestselling Author, Celebrity Ayurvedic and Gut Health Coach, and Founder of Prana by Dimple Jangda, attended Cannes Film Festival 2026 while seeking collaborators for a documentary on Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedic cosmology and Indian life sciences.
Cannes, France: Dimple Jangda attended the Cannes Film Festival in May 2026 with a documentary vision focused on taking India’s ancient philosophical and scientific traditions to a global audience.
The National Bestselling Author, Celebrity Ayurvedic and Gut Health Coach, and Founder of Prana by Dimple Jangda, used her Cannes presence to invite editors, producers, filmmakers and creative collaborators to explore partnerships around a documentary on Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedic cosmology and classical Indian life sciences.
The project aims to present Indian knowledge systems through a modern cinematic lens, connecting ancient wisdom with contemporary scientific inquiry and global storytelling.
At Cannes, Dimple Jangda appeared on the steps of the Palais des Festivals in a crimson column gown draped with a handcrafted gold lattice. The look, styled by Aswad Paris, brought together French couture influence and Indian textile references. Speaking about the look, Dimple Jangda said, “My outfit was my story, the gold lattice draped over crimson was India and France woven together, exactly as they have been in my life. I have always been a child of both worlds.”
Across five days at Cannes 2026, her wardrobe reflected a dialogue between Indian heritage and French style. The looks included a crimson and gold red carpet ensemble, a copper silk day look, a bronze mermaid gown for an evening gala, a pearl and mint sari on the Croisette, a sculptural polka dot dress, and a black lace ensemble for the Chopard event.
The Cannes appearance also carried a personal connection to France. Jangda grew up attending a convent school in Chennai founded by French nuns in the 17th century. Her circle in Mumbai included friends from Paris, Normandy, Nantes, Nice, Angers, Brittany and Grenoble, making France a place connected to her language, friendships and memory.
Her documentary plan draws from her decade of clinical practice, academic research and global outreach. The film seeks to make Ayurveda, Yoga, Jyotish, Vastu and Vedic philosophy more accessible to global audiences while examining how these traditions relate to modern science.
Jangda’s path to Cannes began in visual storytelling. She graduated from the University of Madras with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication, studying filmmaking, photography, multimedia and the arts. She later earned a Gold Medal Master’s degree in International Business and Finance, worked as a copywriter in Chennai, a television reporter in Bangalore, and a TV producer with CNBC in Mumbai before moving into investment banking in New York City.
After leaving her corporate career, she travelled across 11 countries in 10 months, visiting remote Indian regions, ancient ruins and village healers. The journey led her back to Ayurveda and eventually to the founding of Prana in Mumbai.
Dimple Jangda is the author of The Ultimate Healing Code and Heal Your Gut, Mind and Emotions. Her work includes Prana Healthcare Centre, established in 2017, which has treated over 5,600 patients from 74 countries, and Prana Academy for Ayurvedic Life Sciences, which has enrolled

Her television series Ayurveda Diaries, broadcast in English, Hindi and Telugu, reached over 45 million viewers. She has conducted more than 300 workshops for 85,000 participants, including sessions at the London Stock Exchange, KPMG London, Ricoh Poland and BNP Paribas.
