Leadership Move Signals Eurofragance’s Next Growth Phase in India as Shekhar Srinivasan Takes Charge

Bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across specialty chemicals, fragrances and consumer goods, Shekhar Srinivasan will lead Eurofragance India as the company advances business expansion and plans for a new manufacturing facility.

India continues to play an increasingly important role in the global fragrance industry, with international companies expanding their local presence to meet rising demand across fine fragrance, personal care and home care categories. Against this backdrop, fragrance manufacturer Eurofragance has appointed Shekhar Srinivasan as Managing Director for India, a move that reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening its position in one of its fastest growing markets.
Since entering the Indian market in 2018, Eurofragance has established a local team of more than 50 professionals serving customers across multiple fragrance categories. The latest leadership appointment comes as the company prepares for its next phase of growth, including the development of a new manufacturing facility in the country.

Shekhar Srinivasan brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the specialty chemicals, fragrance and consumer goods sectors. Throughout his career, he has worked in business growth, commercial transformation and strategic development across domestic and international markets.
Speaking on his appointment, Shekhar Srinivasan said, “I am thrilled to join Eurofragance at a pivotal stage of its growth journey in India. As Managing Director, Srinivasan will oversee Eurofragance India with responsibility for driving business growth, strengthening customer relationships and expanding the company’s presence across the Indian market. He will also play a key role in supporting the company’s manufacturing expansion plans.

Before joining Eurofragance, Srinivasan served as Global Business Head at Godrej Industries Chemicals, where he managed an international business portfolio and contributed to revenue and profitability growth. His professional experience also includes leadership positions at DSM Firmenich, Ingevity India, Aranca and PetroTel Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
