The admission comes as the Vitamin D3 API manufacturer completes 75 years, serving more than 400 customers in over 60 countries through manufacturing facilities across three Indian states.
Prashant Nagre, Managing Director of Fermenta Biotech Limited, said the listing allows participation from a wider investor community as the company completes 75 years.
Investors can now trade Fermenta Biotech Limited shares on both major Indian stock exchanges after 2,94,30,987 equity shares were listed and admitted to dealings on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited on August 4, 2026.
The shares, carrying a face value of ₹5 each, have been listed on the NSE under the symbol FERMENTA and ISIN INE225B01021. Fermenta Biotech will continue to trade on the BSE under Scrip Code 506414.
The listing was marked with a ceremonial bell ringing at the NSE Exchange Plaza office in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. Representatives from the NSE, members of Fermenta Biotech’s Board, senior leaders and other stakeholders attended the event.
The admission to the NSE comes as Fermenta Biotech completes 75 years of operations. Founded in 1951, the company has been listed on the BSE since 1977.
Fermenta Biotech began with pharmaceutical and biotechnology operations and has since developed a portfolio covering nutritional ingredients, food premixes, green chemistry, active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and environmental solutions.
The company serves more than 400 customers across over 60 countries. Its manufacturing facilities are located in Kullu in Himachal Pradesh, Dahej in Gujarat and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, supported by a research and development centre in Thane near Mumbai.
The company said access through both the BSE and NSE is expected to make its shares available to a wider group of shareholders and market participants, while supporting visibility and price discovery.
