Viplav Shah, Head of LCV Business at Ashok Leyland Ltd., said the Jamnagar dealership will support customer access to DOST, BADA DOST and SAATHI vehicles in Gujarat.
Ashok Leyland has opened a new Light Commercial Vehicle dealership in Jamnagar, taking its LCV dealership count in Gujarat to 13.
The new outlet, operated by channel partner Karan Autolink, is located on the Jamnagar Rajkot Highway and has been set up as a 3S facility covering sales, service and spares. The facility includes seven service bays and will support Ashok Leyland’s LCV range, including SAATHI, DOST, BADA DOST, PARTNER and MiTR.
The company said its LCV distribution network now covers more than 945 customer touchpoints across India. Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group, currently has more than six lakh LCVs operating across the country.

Ashok Leyland’s SAATHI serves the premium entry level small commercial vehicle segment. It is powered by a 45 HP engine producing 110 Nm of torque and offers a payload capacity of 1,120 kg.
The BADA DOST is available in six variants and is powered by an 80 HP BS6 engine. The company said the vehicle is designed for intercity and intracity applications, supported by its turning radius, ground clearance, payload and loading space.
The DOST range includes DOST XL and DOST Plus XL variants for different market and application needs. PARTNER serves the four tonne payload segment and is available in four tyre and six tyre options with a ZD30 CRDI engine. The MiTR bus is offered in staff bus and school bus options, with the school bus version complying with school bus safety norms.
