Mumbai, June 11, 2026: Visa has announced an enhanced value proposition for its Platinum and Classic consumer credit and debit card portfolio in India.
The refreshed offering will provide always on benefits across everyday spending categories with wider merchant access and simpler redemption. Visa said the rollout will reach more than 290 million cards in India.
The benefits cover high frequency categories including food, ecommerce, OTT, travel and retail, and are designed for both online and in store use.
Visa has partnered with brands including Swiggy, Zepto, Meesho, Instamart and Abhibus. OTT partners include SonyLiv and Zee5, while retail partners include Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, Max, Lulu, More and Star Bazaar.
“India’s consumer landscape continues to evolve towards more frequent, digitally enabled and experience led spending. Our enhanced value proposition is designed to deliver relevant benefits across categories that matter most, driving stronger engagement while enabling secure and seamless payment experiences,” said Ramakrishnan Gopalan, Head of Products and Solutions, India and South Asia, Visa.
Eligible customers can also receive a welcome voucher of up to INR 250 on new credit card issuance, along with access to international airport lounge privileges.
Visa said the enhanced portfolio is designed to support issuers in offering more relevant benefits to cardholders while strengthening the appeal of its credit and debit card portfolio in India.
