The partnership brings Hisense televisions, air conditioners and upcoming washing machines and refrigerators to more than 86 Sonovision outlets, as Pankaj Rana, CEO, Hisense India, and Bhasker Murthy, Managing Director, Sonovision, cited rising demand for smart home products.

National, 9 June 2026: Hisense India has partnered with Sonovision to make its consumer electronics and home appliance portfolio available across more than 86 stores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Through the partnership, Sonovision stores will offer Hisense televisions and air conditioners, along with the brand’s upcoming washing machine and refrigerator ranges.
The development supports Hisense India’s offline retail growth in South India, where demand for smart TVs, connected appliances and large screen home entertainment is increasing.

A Nielsen India Internet Report states that 25 percent of households in South India own a smart TV, indicating a growing base for IoT enabled and large screen home ecosystems.
The partnership follows the inauguration of Hisense India’s first manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, earlier in 2026, giving the brand a regional supply chain advantage.

Pankaj Rana, CEO, Hisense India, said, “Expanding our offline presence is helping us build a deeper understanding of evolving consumer preferences across India, especially in South India where demand for premium entertainment and smart home solutions is growing rapidly. Consumers today are looking for products that are designed around their everyday lifestyles, whether it is powerful cooling solutions suited for Indian climatic conditions, connected appliances for modern households, or immersive large-screen experiences for movie lovers and gaming enthusiasts. Through our partnership with Sonovision, we aim to bring these globally advanced and locally relevant innovations closer to consumers across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana while strengthening our retail and service presence in the region.”

Sonovision is a consumer electronics retail chain with a strong presence across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The retailer will now carry Hisense televisions, air conditioners and upcoming home appliance categories across its network.
Bhasker Murthy, Managing Director, Sonovision, said, “We are excited to partner with Hisense India and introduce its globally acclaimed range of televisions and home appliances across our retail network. Hisense’s focus on innovation, quality, and value aligns perfectly with the expectations of consumers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We look forward to building a strong and successful association together.”

Hisense India has been expanding its offline network through partnerships with consumer electronics retail chains. Its retail partnerships include Reliance, Sathya Agencies, Nandilath G Mart, Great Eastern Retail and Patra Electronics, along with authorised dealers across India.
Hisense India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hisense Group and is present in more than 160 countries. The brand operates across televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and other consumer appliance categories.
Sonovision was established in 1969 and now operates 88 major branches across 38 cities and towns in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The company said more than 680,000 customers shopped at Sonovision over the past year.
