Dish TV has introduced regional entertainment packs starting at ₹149, with Manoj Dobhal, CEO and Executive Director, saying language preferences and family viewing behaviour continue to shape household television demand.
Dish TV India has introduced a revised regional entertainment offering aimed at households that prioritise language specific content, affordability and uninterrupted television access.
The company said the updated strategy is designed around viewing behaviour across regional language households, where television remains closely linked to cinema, daily programming, sports and family entertainment.
The entry level packs begin at ₹149 per month and include entertainment and sports channels. Dish TV said its base offering includes more than 225 channels, with dedicated regional packs across Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam content, alongside more than 36 Tamil language channels.
The company has also introduced a Sports Always On feature intended to maintain access to sporting content during recharge gaps or temporary interruptions.
Manoj Dobhal, CEO and Executive Director, Dish TV India Ltd., said, “South India has always been an extremely important market for Dish TV, shaped by strong language preferences, deep rooted entertainment culture, and highly engaged family viewing habits.”
He said the company’s focus is to align entertainment access with how households consume television content today.
Sukhpreet Singh, Chief Revenue Officer, Dish TV India Ltd., said consumers increasingly expect affordability, convenience and entertainment options that reflect language preferences.
He said the revised offering was designed to combine regional content access with everyday viewing continuity.
Dish TV said the strategy reflects its continued focus on personalised television offerings shaped by audience behaviour and regional consumption patterns.
