GIFT City, Gandhinagar, March 4, 2026: India International Exchange IFSC Limited, known as India INX and a subsidiary of BSE, has entered into strategic Memoranda of Understanding with the Taiwan Stock Exchange, AFRINEX Exchange and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India to expand global capital market collaboration through GIFT International Financial Services Centre.
The agreements extend India INX’s international partnership network across Asia and Africa while supporting institutional capacity within the IFSC ecosystem. The partnerships with the Taiwan Stock Exchange and AFRINEX Exchange focus on strengthening capital market connectivity and exchange level cooperation, while the collaboration with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India introduces certification programmes aimed at enhancing regulatory alignment and professional standards within GIFT City.
The MoUs were exchanged during the Global Securities Market Conclave 2.0 hosted by the International Financial Services Centres Authority in Gandhinagar at GIFT City. Senior representatives from partner institutions attended the exchange ceremony, reflecting coordinated efforts to expand cross border capital market engagement.
Participants included Brenda Hu, Senior Vice President at Taiwan Stock Exchange and Chief Operating Officer of the Asian Asset Management Centre representing TWSE, Thapelo Tsheole, Chief Executive Officer of AFRINEX Exchange, and CS Ashish Mohan, Secretary of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
The collaborations are expected to enhance India INX’s international reach while expanding access to global markets. The initiatives also contribute to strengthening institutional depth within GIFT IFSC and support cross border capital market integration aligned with evolving global financial standards.
Through these partnerships, India INX continues to position GIFT City as an emerging gateway for international capital market participation and financial services development.
