An MoU signed at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 in the presence of State leadership sets the stage for Gravton Motors to build EV powertrain, electric two wheeler and AGV development units with facilitation support through TG IPASS.
Gravton Motors has taken an important step toward strengthening Telangana’s clean mobility vision with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025. The agreement confirms the company’s plan to develop advanced facilities for electric vehicle powertrain production, electric two wheeler manufacturing and autonomous ground vehicle technology. The announcement was made at Bharat Future City, where the summit gathered industry leaders, innovators and policymakers to map the next phase of the State’s industrial growth.
Under the MoU, Gravton Motors will receive facilitation support from the Government of Telangana through the TG IPASS mechanism. This support will help the company secure clearances more efficiently and coordinate with various government departments so that the upcoming units can progress without administrative delays. The collaboration reflects the State’s focus on future ready industries and marks a meaningful addition to its growing ecosystem of mobility and technology enterprises.
The project is expected to contribute to research driven manufacturing, local innovation and high skilled employment. By creating facilities that support electric vehicle powertrain engineering and autonomous mobility solutions, Gravton Motors aims to encourage the growth of an ancillary supplier ecosystem and open up new opportunities for engineers, technicians and emerging talent in the region. The initiative also aligns with the State’s commitment to sustainable transportation, reduced emissions and long term green mobility planning.
Speaking about the partnership, Parshuram Paka, Founder and Managing Director of Gravton Motors, said that the summit represents a moment of confidence in the State’s progressive industrial approach. He noted that Telangana’s governance model and technology focused environment provide a strong foundation for companies working in next generation mobility. He also expressed optimism about developing technology in Telangana that can contribute to India’s expanding role in the global electric vehicle landscape.
The MoU serves as an initial framework for cooperation between the Government of Telangana and Gravton Motors. The detailed agreements that will follow are expected to guide the establishment of infrastructure, the phased development of manufacturing lines and the overall direction of the project. Both parties have highlighted their shared commitment to innovation, sustainability and long term value creation.
Gravton Motors, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Hyderabad, specialises in electric powertrains, electric two wheelers and autonomous ground vehicle technologies. The Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 provided the platform for the announcement and featured major collaborations across manufacturing, energy, technology and infrastructure. The partnership adds momentum to the State’s aspiration to become one of India’s leading centres for emerging technologies.
