Kamlesh Thakur, Co Founder and Managing Director, Srishti Group, says the ‘Builders of Our City’ initiative reflects the developer’s people first approach and respect for the workforce
Srishti Group marked Republic Day with an on site Labour Appreciation initiative titled ‘Builders of Our City’ at its ongoing project Srishti Oasis at GMLR One in Mumbai. The programme was organised in alignment with this year’s Republic Day theme of ‘Vande Mataram’ and focused on recognising the contribution of construction workers to urban development.
The initiative was designed to acknowledge the role of the construction workforce in shaping the city’s infrastructure and supporting long term development. It brought together elements of gratitude, inclusivity, and national pride, reinforcing the idea that nation building is driven as much by people as it is by projects.
As part of the programme, workers participated in a visual formation reflecting the ‘Vande Mataram’ theme. Wearing safety helmets as a symbol of dignity of labour and workplace safety, the labourers assembled holding placards that spelled out the patriotic message, creating a strong visual moment at the site.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamlesh Thakur, Co Founder and Managing Director of Srishti Group, said, “Republic Day is a reminder that nation building is ultimately about people. Through ‘Builders of Our City’, we wanted to acknowledge the workforce that turns ideas into reality and remains central to every project we undertake.”
The event also included the distribution of snacks and appreciation hampers to workers as a gesture of recognition for their continued efforts and contribution to the project and the city’s growth.
The Republic Day programme at GMLR One reflected Srishti Group’s focus on workforce welfare, safety, and responsible development. The initiative highlighted the developer’s commitment to inclusive growth while reinforcing respect for the people who contribute to building urban India at the ground level.

Alright, pakjetogame. Tried it out the other day. Not bad, not bad at all. Graphics are decent, gameplay is smooth. Could use more levels though! Still, I’d recommend giving it a spin and seeing what you think. pakjetogame
