The hospital operator recorded combined first-day turnover of Rs 3,365.86 crore as more than 513 lakh shares changed hands across the NSE and BSE.

The hospital operator listed at Rs 655 against an IPO price of Rs 590, touched Rs 676.05 on the BSE and ended its first trading day at Rs 666.70.

Manipal Health Enterprises Limited ended its first day on the stock exchanges with a BSE market capitalisation of Rs 87,696.20 crore after its shares listed at an 11% premium to the IPO price.
The Bengaluru-based hospital operator listed at Rs 655 on the BSE against an issue price of Rs 590. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 675.80 on the NSE and Rs 676.05 on the BSE.
Manipal Health Enterprises closed at Rs 663.15 on the NSE and Rs 666.70 on the BSE.

The opening price represented an 11.02% gain over the issue price, while the BSE closing price was 13% higher than the IPO price.
Trading activity remained high during the first session. According to exchange data, 470.08 lakh shares were traded on the NSE, while the total quantity on the BSE stood at 43.91 lakh shares.
The combined turnover across the BSE and NSE reached Rs 3,365.86 crore on the listing day.

At the closing price, the company’s market capitalisation stood at Rs 87,696.20 crore on the BSE and Rs 87,229.24 crore on the NSE.
The public issue received bids for 44,30,73,025 equity shares against 9,00,88,286 equity shares offered, according to data available on the stock exchanges.
The Qualified Institutional Buyers portion was subscribed 8.25 times. The Non-Institutional Investors segment was subscribed 1.02 times, while the retail portion recorded 0.93 times subscription.

The employee reservation portion was subscribed 2.19 times.
Manipal Health Enterprises operates a pan-India network of multispecialty hospitals offering outpatient care as well as tertiary and quaternary medical services.
As of March 31, 2026, the company operated 49 hospitals with 13,037 licensed beds across 14 states and union territories.
According to the CRISIL Report cited by the company, Manipal Health Enterprises was India’s largest pan-India multispecialty hospital network by bed capacity and the second-largest hospital chain by number of hospitals as of March 31, 2026.

The company also had the widest hospital presence among private hospital chains in India during the same period.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Manipal Health Enterprises reported revenue from operations of Rs 10,329.75 crore. Its pro forma revenue from operations stood at Rs 10,933.63 crore.
According to the cited CRISIL Report, this was the second-highest revenue from operations among private hospital chains in India for the financial year.
The company had 6,404 licensed beds across Karnataka, 2,188 beds across Maharashtra and Goa, and 2,887 beds across West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Sikkim as of March 31, 2026.
