Soy Soi Takes Over Zega at Sheraton Hyderabad for Three-Day Pan-Asian Showcase

Chef Peter Tseng brings Southeast Asia’s street food traditions to Hyderabad from February 27 to March 1

Hyderabad, February 23, 2026: For three days, Hyderabad’s dining scene will host one of Chennai’s most respected Pan-Asian kitchens as Soy Soi collaborates with Zega at Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel for an exclusive culinary showcase from February 27 to March 1.
Led by Chef Te Yuan Peter Tseng, Culinary Director at Pricol Gourmet Pvt. Ltd., Soy Soi has built its reputation on translating Southeast Asia’s street food traditions into refined, research-driven dining experiences. Since opening in Chennai in 2017, the restaurant has become known for its ingredient-focused approach and deep exploration of regional flavors across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The Hyderabad popup marks Soy Soi’s first showcase in the city, offering diners a curated selection of dishes that reflect the spirit of Southeast Asia’s night markets and hawker kitchens.
Signature highlights include Soto Ayam Madura with turmeric-poached chicken and vermicelli noodles; Lahpet Thoke, a Burmese fermented tea leaf salad; Xiaolong Bao with miso broth and Wagyu; Yellow Tail Usuzukuri with yuzu koshu; Sate Ayam Bakar with sambal hijau; Jasmine Tempura Prawns with Sichuan chili; and Lamb Rendang with roasted coconut shavings. Desserts include Thap Thim Krop and Soy Soi’s signature Bon Bon collection featuring pandan, matcha, jasmine, and sweet tamarind.

Chef Peter Tseng described the collaboration as a culinary bridge between Chennai and Hyderabad, built on shared appreciation for bold Asian flavors and ingredient authenticity.
Benjamin Lalhmangaiha, Executive Sous Chef at Zega, said the partnership reflects Zega’s commitment to presenting diverse and regionally rooted Asian cuisines to Hyderabad diners.

For the duration of the popup, Zega’s interiors will incorporate Asian-inspired design elements reflecting earth, fire, water, and air — echoing the sensory energy of Southeast Asia’s food districts.
Both à la carte lunch menus and curated dinner set menus will be available. Reservations are recommended due to limited seating.
