The resort received the Pioneer in Destination Wedding Resort title at the Times Business Awards North East 2025 26, with Pardeep Siwach saying the honour reflects its focus on exceptional wedding experiences
Mayfair Spring Valley Resort, Guwahati, has been recognised as Pioneer in Destination Wedding Resort at the Times Business Awards North East 2025 26, adding to its position in the region’s luxury hospitality and wedding tourism space.
The recognition was announced at the third edition of the awards ceremony held on April 30, 2026, at Vivanta by Taj Guwahati. The award was presented by actor Gulshan Grover and actress Madhurima Choudhury in the presence of business leaders and industry representatives.
The honour comes as destination weddings continue to gain popularity across India, with couples increasingly choosing scenic venues and experience led celebrations over conventional city locations.
Mayfair Spring Valley Resort has built its wedding offering around natural surroundings, premium hospitality, and large event spaces. The recognition also points to Guwahati’s growing appeal as a destination for luxury weddings in Northeast India.
Pardeep Siwach, Deputy General Manager, Mayfair Spring Valley Resort, Guwahati, said, “This recognition is a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences and setting new benchmarks in destination weddings. We are proud to contribute to the growing prominence of Northeast India in the luxury hospitality and wedding space.”
The award also reflects a wider shift in Northeast India’s hospitality market, where premium properties are drawing attention to destinations that combine natural beauty with event infrastructure. For couples and planners, the region is becoming a stronger alternative to metros and traditional hill station venues.
Mayfair Spring Valley Resort offers 260 rooms, cottages, and villas, open lawns spanning 2.25 lakh sq ft, a 72000 sq ft indoor hall, multi cuisine restaurants, a spa, and dedicated kids’ zones. The property is designed for leisure travel, events, weddings, and large gatherings while reflecting the culture and landscape of Northeast India.
