Rahul Khanna joins Hisense India with over 17 years of experience across Samsung, LG Electronics and Panasonic, as Pankaj Rana, CEO, Hisense India, points to growth in appliances, local manufacturing and AI led innovation.
Hisense India has appointed Rahul Khanna as Head of Home Appliances, covering washing machines, refrigerators and small domestic appliances, as the company prepares to expand its appliance portfolio in the Indian market.
The appointment comes after the recent launch of the Hisense Intelli Cool Pro Series room air conditioner and forms part of the company’s plan to build a wider future ready appliances business in India.
Rahul Khanna brings more than 17 years of experience across product management, research and development, sourcing, sales and marketing. He has worked with Samsung, LG Electronics and Panasonic, where he handled product categories and business growth across consumer appliance segments.
In his new role, Rahul will lead the introduction and expansion of Hisense India’s washing machine, refrigerator and small domestic appliance categories. His responsibilities will include building these businesses from the ground up, with focus on execution, product planning and scale.

He added that India’s appliance and consumer electronics market is poised for significant expansion, supported by rising incomes, rural demand, local manufacturing and AI led innovation. According to the company, Hisense India recorded more than 50 percent growth in CY25 compared to CY24.

Hisense India said the appointment reflects its focus on diversifying its product offerings and expanding in the fast growing home appliances segment.
The company’s India growth plans are also linked to its recently announced manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The facility is intended to support local production capabilities and align with the Government’s Make in India mission.
Over the past year, Hisense India has expanded its offline presence through partnerships with retail chains including Reliance Digital, Sathya, Nandilath, Great Eastern Retail and Patra Electronics, along with authorised dealers across the country.
