Saurab Gahoi, Senior Vice President, India, Ramee Group of Hotels, received the recognition at the 13th National Awards of Excellence and Leadership 2026 in Mumbai, following more than two decades in the hospitality industry.
Leadership in hospitality is closely tied to the ability to manage growth while keeping the guest experience at the centre of business decisions. Saurab Gahoi, Senior Vice President, India, Ramee Group of Hotels, has been recognised for his work in the sector with the Young Achiever of the Year Award 2026.
Gahoi received the honour at the 13th National Awards of Excellence and Leadership 2026, held in July at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. The award recognises his leadership and contribution to growth and excellence within the hospitality sector.
The recognition comes during an important period in Gahoi’s career at Ramee Group, where he is responsible for the hospitality company’s expansion and business strategy in India.
Commenting on the award, Saurab Gahoi said, “I am deeply honoured to receive this award. It reflects the collective efforts of my colleagues, mentors and the entire Ramee Group team. I remain committed to fostering a culture of excellence and creating meaningful experiences for our guests.”
Gahoi brings more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. He joined Ramee Group in 2022 as Vice President, India, taking on responsibilities related to the company’s operations and growth in the country.
Two years later, in 2024, he was elevated to Senior Vice President, India. Since taking on the expanded role, he has been driving the group’s India expansion and business strategy.
His progression within Ramee Group comes as the company continues to operate across India and the Middle East, spanning hotels, resorts, apartments and dining offerings in urban markets.
For a hospitality business, expansion involves more than adding properties or entering new markets. Maintaining service standards, managing teams and ensuring consistency in guest experiences remain closely connected to the commercial direction of the organisation. Gahoi’s recognition places attention on the leadership behind that process.
The Young Achiever of the Year honour also reflects the role of professionals who have spent years building operational and commercial experience before taking responsibility for broader business growth.
Founded in 1985 by Raj Shetty, Ramee Group of Hotels, Resorts and Apartments has developed an international hospitality presence across India and the Middle East. Its portfolio includes accommodation, dining and boutique hospitality offerings across key urban locations.
For Gahoi, the award marks another point in a hospitality career spanning more than 20 years, while his current responsibilities remain centred on the next stage of Ramee Group’s business in India.
