India’s Insurance Customer Experience Shift Deepens as Mahindra Insurance Brokers Backs Data Led Engagement

Avlesh Singh, Co-founder & CEO, WebEngage, said the partnership with Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited is aimed at enabling lifecycle driven customer engagement across offline, assisted and digital insurance touchpoints.

Mumbai, 13th May 2026: India’s insurance customer engagement landscape is moving further towards data led lifecycle management as Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with WebEngage to strengthen omnichannel customer experience.
The collaboration is focused on creating a unified customer engagement framework by consolidating interactions across direct to consumer platforms, assisted sales journeys and offline dealer led touchpoints into a single system. The objective is to help Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited build a more complete customer view across the insurance lifecycle, including policy purchase, renewals and servicing.

As part of the partnership, the company will use WebEngage’s customer data and engagement platform to automate policy level communication, including contextual reminders, updates and engagement journeys tied to individual customer policies. The unified view is also expected to support cross sell and upsell opportunities across product categories, including extending motor insurance relationships into health coverage, while encouraging greater digital first adoption.

Through the collaboration, Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited is moving towards a single view omnichannel customer model, combining automation, data orchestration and policy intelligence to improve engagement consistency and campaign effectiveness.
WebEngage, which serves more than 850 consumer brands across multiple markets, provides customer data, analytics, engagement and personalisation tools for businesses across sectors including financial services, automotive and consumer brands.
