Shalini Sharma, Head of Marketing, Piccadily Distillery, said recognition across whisky, rum and vodka reflects changing global perception as the company secured top honours at the London Spirits Competition and Asian Spirits Masters 2026.

New Delhi, 12th May 2026: India’s premium spirits industry is drawing stronger international attention after Piccadily Distillery secured major recognition across whisky, vodka and rum at two leading global spirits competitions in 2026.
The awards mark a notable moment for the domestic premium spirits segment, with an Indian distillery delivering cross category wins in an industry traditionally dominated by long established global producers.
At the London Spirits Competition 2026 in the United Kingdom, Indri Agneya scored 95 points and was named Indian Single Malt Whisky of the Year. Cashmir Vodka received 96 points and a Double Gold distinction, placing it among the highest scoring entries in its category.

The momentum continued at the Asian Spirits Masters 2026, where Indri Trini, Indri Dru and Camikara Rum 8 Year Old secured Master Awards, the competition’s highest honour. Camikara Rum 3 Year Old also received a Gold Medal.
The performance places Piccadily Distillery among a small group of producers delivering recognition across multiple premium spirits categories within the same awards cycle.
Shalini Sharma, Head of Marketing, Piccadily Distillery, said, “These accolades mark a shift in global perception. Piccadily isn’t just competing; we’re setting new benchmarks. Across whisky, rum and vodka, our portfolio showcases the depth, quality and innovation of Indian spirits. This recognition reinforces our belief that India is ready to lead the global stage. We’re proud to represent India and redefine how the world experiences its spirits.”

Global premium spirits buyers are increasingly paying attention to authenticity, production quality and differentiated origin stories, creating stronger opportunities for newer premium producers from emerging markets.
Piccadily’s recent recognition reflects that shift, with its portfolio gaining visibility beyond the Indian whisky segment and extending into vodka and rum categories.
Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, the listed parent company behind Piccadily Distillery, operates manufacturing facilities in Indri, Haryana, and Chhattisgarh with production capabilities across malt spirit, extra neutral alcohol and ethanol.
Its premium portfolio includes Indri Single Malt, Camikara, Cashmir and Whistler, as the company continues to expand its position in India’s premium spirits market.
