Puja Garg, National President, FICCI FLO, said the June 5 panel will bring together leaders including Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO, Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, Ankit Agarwal, Founder, Phool.co, and Barkha Subba, Conservation Scientist and Whitley Award Winner 2026.

FICCI Ladies Organisation will host a panel discussion on World Environment Day on June 5, 2026, at FICCI Federation House in New Delhi, bringing together voices from business, policy, conservation and entrepreneurship.
The session, titled Planet, Policy and Progress: Building India’s Sustainable Future, is being organised under the FLO GreenTech and Circular Economy National Initiative. It will focus on sustainability, climate action, circular economy models, responsible business practices and scalable green solutions.

The panel will feature Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO, Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, Ankit Agarwal, Founder, Phool.co, and Barkha Subba, Conservation Scientist and Whitley Award Winner 2026. The discussion will be moderated by Bahar Dutt, Journalist, Author and Conservation Biologist.
“The discussion will bring together diverse perspectives on green innovation, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, circular economy models, sustainable mobility, and responsible entrepreneurship. The panelists will be highlighting the urgent need for collaborative action between businesses, policymakers, communities, and citizens to build a more sustainable and climate-resilient India,” said Puja Garg, National President, FICCI FLO.

“Sustainability is no longer a future aspiration. It is an urgent responsibility. India’s transition towards green technology and a circular economy presents not only an environmental imperative but also a transformative economic opportunity. At FLO, we believe that the future of growth must be rooted in purpose, responsibility, inclusion, and innovation,” she added.
During the event, FICCI FLO will also formally announce the launch of its Pan India Initiative on Waste Collection and Responsible Disposal. The initiative is aimed at encouraging conscious waste management practices and wider community participation towards a cleaner and greener India.
The event will be led by Vibha Jain, Initiative Lead, FLO GreenTech and Circular Economy National Initiative, along with Namrata Mishra, Initiative Co Lead.
