The MoU was signed by Puja Garg, National President, FICCI Ladies Organisation, and Shirish Paliwal, Additional Director General, National Productivity Council, to support sustainability, capacity building and circular economy initiatives.

New Delhi, June 6, 2026: FICCI Ladies Organisation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Productivity Council to collaborate on sustainability, green technologies and community focused development initiatives.
The partnership will focus on capacity building, circular economy practices, sustainability programmes, exposure visits, international study delegations and the implementation of government initiatives linked to productivity and sustainable development.
The MoU was signed by Ms. Puja Garg, National President, FICCI Ladies Organisation, and Mr. Shirish Paliwal, Additional Director General, National Productivity Council. Mr. Ashutosh Makup, Director, NPC, was also present on the occasion.

Ms. Puja Garg, National President, FICCI Ladies Organisation, said, “The collaboration comes at a particularly meaningful time as the world commemorated World Environment Day, reinforcing the growing global commitment to making sustainability an integral way of life rather than merely an aspiration. A key highlight of the partnership will be the promotion of grassroots “Waste to Wealth” initiatives aimed at empowering communities, encouraging responsible consumption, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women across India.”
She added, “By combining NPC’s technical expertise with FLO’s extensive national network, the partnership seeks to create meaningful impact, foster innovation, and contribute towards building a more productive, sustainable, and inclusive India.”

Mr. Shirish Paliwal, Additional Director General, National Productivity Council, said, “Both organisations NPC and FLO looks forward to a long and fruitful association that transforms ideas into action and partnerships into measurable outcomes. The MoU signifies a shared commitment by both organisations to drive sustainable growth and support India’s transition towards a greener and more responsible future.”
FLO is the women’s wing of FICCI and represents more than 16,000 women entrepreneurs and professionals through 22 chapters across India. The organisation works across women empowerment, entrepreneurship, skill development and leadership.
The National Productivity Council works under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and focuses on productivity through consultancy, training and research initiatives.
