Akshay Patil, Cluster Head, Maharashtra, said the drive gave Spinny customers a way to go beyond ownership through shared journeys, conversations and road experiences.
Pune’s weekend driving culture became the setting for Spinny’s latest Breakfast Drive, as a convoy of customers travelled to Lavasa for a morning built around road journeys, conversations and community.
The drive began before the city had fully started its day, with Spinny customers heading towards Lavasa, one of Pune’s familiar weekend routes known for its ghats, views and short escape from the city.
For many participants, the journey was centred as much on the people in the convoy as the destination. Families, friends, couples and first time participants shared conversations on favourite road trips, food stops, dream destinations and future travel plans as they moved through the route.
Kartik, one of the participants, said, “Honestly, I didn’t expect that I would get a call from Spinny again or that they organised events like these. Driving through the ghats, seeing so many different families, and meeting people from different age groups was honestly really nice.”
Nadeem Attar, another participant, said the drive was his first experience through the ghats. “When I saw the convoy moving together through the roads, I could really feel the spirit of it all. You could call it the Spinny spirit,” he said.
The drive ended with breakfast overlooking Lavasa’s landscape. Participants spent time over conversations, carrom, table tennis, photographs and travel stories after the cars were parked.
Akshay Patil, Cluster Head, Maharashtra, said, “Pune has always had a strong culture of weekend drives and spontaneous getaways. The Breakfast Drive felt like a natural extension of that spirit. More importantly, it gives our customers a chance to step beyond ownership and share experiences, stories, and memorable journeys together. That’s what makes this community special.”
The Pune edition has also been captured through a slice of life film covering convoy moments through the ghats, breakfast conversations, family interactions and smaller moments from the morning.
Spinny Breakfast Drives have earlier been held in Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Gurugram. The initiative continues to bring customers together through routes, shared experiences and the joy of driving.
