Aishwarya Shinod, Chief Marketing Officer of Hindustan Pencils, said the Apsara PlayPad encourages children to colour, solve and create during family dining experiences.
Apsara by Hindustan Pencils and Swiggy Dineout have introduced the Apsara PlayPad, a screen free activity placemat designed for children at restaurants.
The initiative is available across more than 50 restaurants in 8 cities and aims to help families keep children engaged while waiting for meals without relying on digital devices.
The Apsara PlayPad includes colouring activities, puzzles, mazes, word games and creative challenges. The activity sheet is designed to make waiting time more engaging for young diners while encouraging family interaction.
The collaboration addresses a common challenge for parents dining out: keeping children occupied at restaurants without handing them a screen. Through the PlayPad, Apsara and Swiggy Dineout are using paper based activities to create a simple dining table experience for children.
Aishwarya Shinod, Chief Marketing Officer, Hindustan Pencils, said, “At Apsara, we’ve always believed that creativity begins with the simplest of tools, a pencil, a sheet of paper and a child’s imagination. Our collaboration with Swiggy Dineout reflects this belief by creating moments where families can slow down, connect and enjoy screen-free experiences together. The Apsara PlayPad is more than just an activity sheet, it’s an invitation for children to colour, solve, imagine and create while making waiting time a joyful part of the dining experience.”
The Apsara PlayPad is now available at participating Swiggy Dineout partner restaurants across 8 cities.
