Visa Infinite Privilege and invitation only Visa Infinite Private join the portfolio as India’s affluent consumer base grows beyond major metros

Visa has refreshed its Visa Infinite offering in India, expanding the premium card proposition from a single tier into three distinct options designed for different affluent consumer segments.
The portfolio now comprises Visa Infinite, Visa Infinite Privilege and Visa Infinite Private. Each tier offers personalised privileges aligned with different lifestyle preferences, including travel, dining, sport and wellness.
The expansion comes as India’s affluent population grows beyond major metropolitan areas. According to the Visa VCA India’s Affluent Economy 2025 to 2026 Whitepaper, the number of individuals earning more than ₹10 lakh annually has increased from 69 lakh to 1.3 crore in recent years.

The Whitepaper also found that seven in 10 affluent consumers seek bespoke and exclusive offerings, indicating growing demand for experiences tailored to individual interests and aspirations.
Rishi Chhabra, Country Manager, India, Visa, said, “Visa has long played a defining role in shaping the world of premium payments and affluent lifestyles, connecting consumers to experiences, privileges, and unparalleled acceptance across the globe.”
He added, “The refreshed Visa Infinite portfolio builds on this leadership and has been shaped by a clear understanding of India’s affluent consumers, their global identity, need for hyper personalization and customized offerings, and expectations of premium propositions that are intuitive, relevant, and connected to their lives.”

Chhabra said the three tier portfolio combines lifestyle benefits, travel experiences, concierge services and Visa’s partner ecosystem to provide value across different expressions of affluence.
Visa Infinite forms the foundation of the portfolio, offering everyday value alongside travel and lifestyle rewards. Visa Infinite Privilege adds broader access and more curated experiences.
Visa Infinite Private sits at the highest level of the portfolio. The invitation only offering is intended for ultra high net worth individuals and provides bespoke services alongside access to rare and highly personalised experiences.
The three tiers are supported by payment capabilities including elevated transaction limits, smart authorisation, cross border issuance and continuous security.

Visa has also incorporated experiential programmes centred on consumer interests into the refreshed proposition.
Infinite Tastes: Beyond the Menu is a chef led culinary programme providing access to the stories, craft and culture influencing the dining scene across Asia Pacific, including India.
Visa Destinations is a global travel platform centred on consumer interests, offering handpicked journeys and exclusive access.
Through the expanded Visa Infinite portfolio, Visa is positioning its premium card offerings around changing preferences among affluent consumers, with greater emphasis on access, convenience, personalised services and experiences.
