Starting 20 November, the relaunch offers festive sailings to Phuket, Penang, and Pulau Bintan, with departures from Singapore and Port Klang.
StarCruises, Southeast Asia’s pioneering cruise brand under Resorts World Cruises, is charting a fresh course with the highly anticipated return of Star Voyager. Set to resume operations from 20 November 2025, the vessel will sail from Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) and Port Klang, reconnecting travellers with popular regional destinations.
The cruise line has confirmed that Star Voyager will offer a mix of 2, 3, and 4-night sailings covering Phuket, Penang, and Pulau Bintan, with themed festive voyages planned for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Chinese New Year.
“We’re excited to bring back Star Voyager to her home region. This relaunch is not just about travel, it’s about celebrating culture, connection, and cruising with a local soul,” said a StarCruises spokesperson.
Originally built for the Asian market, Star Voyager remains one of the region’s most traveller-friendly mid-sized ships, combining comfort with curated experiences for families, couples, and group travellers. The cruise will feature Asian and international cuisine, live entertainment, and regional shore excursions.
Bookings for the Star Voyager sailings will open mid-October, with exclusive early-bird deals expected to be announced on StarCruises’ official platforms.
The relaunch positions StarCruises as a key player in reviving cruise tourism across Southeast Asia, with a focus on accessibility, affordability, and authentic experiences.
