The Indian tricolour was ceremonially unfurled by the chief guest, Vyankat Bhanudas Patil, a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police from Thane and a distinguished officer of the 1988 MPSC Direct batch. The ceremony was conducted with solemnity, setting the tone for the Republic Day observance.
