Over 100 employees from sales, logistics, RMA, and accounts compete in inter-department tournaments organised by the IT hardware firm
Cricket bats and badminton racquets replaced keyboards and screens for a day as Consistent Infosystems organised an inter-department sports meet at its New Delhi office on December 28. The event brought together employees from across the organisation for a series of competitive matches aimed at encouraging interaction beyond routine work settings.
More than 100 employees participated in the sports day, with teams drawn from departments including sales, logistics, RMA, and accounts. The format centred on two core events: a cricket league for men and a badminton tournament for women, ensuring broad participation across teams and roles.
The cricket tournament featured four teams representing RMA, Logistics, Sales, and Accounts. Matches were played in a league format, culminating in a final where the RMA team emerged winners, while the Logistics team finished as runners-up. The RMA team was led by Satish Singh, while Sonu Singh captained the Logistics side.
In the badminton tournament, eight teams competed through multiple rounds. The final saw Baby Kaur and Ankita Moriya secure the winners’ position, with Taruna Dhawan and Tannu finishing as runners-up after a closely contested match.
The sports day created an informal setting for employees from different functions to interact, compete, and collaborate outside their usual roles. By placing teams from multiple departments on the same field, the event encouraged cross-functional engagement and informal bonding.
Speaking on the occasion, Yogesh Agrawal, CMD and Co-Founder of Consistent Infosystems, said the initiative reflected the company’s belief that teamwork and well-being are closely linked to long-term organisational performance. He noted that such activities allow employees to connect in ways that go beyond everyday work routines.
Consistent Infosystems, which operates across IT hardware, networking, surveillance, and consumer electronics segments, has continued to invest in employee-focused initiatives alongside its business expansion. The sports meet formed part of the company’s broader effort to strengthen internal engagement and reinforce collaboration across teams.
