Himanshu Vyapak, CEO, FinX, and Deepak Kumar Lalla, CEO, Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, outline plans to connect banking and finance students with employment opportunities through FinX’s E3 platform, supported by a network of more than 300 corporate partners.
FinX has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) to improve employment opportunities for students completing the Diploma in Banking & Finance and other professional certification courses.
The collaboration aims to connect financial services education with industry recruitment requirements by combining IIBF’s professional training expertise with FinX’s employment platform and corporate network.
Under the agreement, eligible IIBF candidates will gain access to employment opportunities in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector through FinX’s E3 platform.
The platform will also provide assistance with building professional profiles and access to free online grooming webinars intended to help candidates prepare for recruitment processes.
FinX has relationships with more than 300 corporate partners across banking, asset management, wealth management, insurance, financial distribution, broking and other financial services segments.
These industry relationships are expected to support the employment opportunities made available to candidates through the collaboration.
The partnership is intended to help students move from professional certification towards employment by improving their understanding of job requirements and supporting their preparation for industry roles.
Himanshu Vyapak, CEO, FinX, said, “Our partnership with IIBF is an important step towards bridging the gap between financial education and employment. We aim to help candidates translate their qualifications into meaningful career outcomes.”
He also outlined FinX’s intention to introduce a more measurable approach to assessing candidates’ readiness for employment.
The company aims to develop the FinX Employability Score as a standardised indicator of job readiness across the BFSI sector.
According to Vyapak, the proposed score would help identify candidates’ existing capabilities, skill gaps and areas requiring further development.
The objective is to provide employers and candidates with a clearer understanding of employability beyond academic qualifications and professional certifications.
Vyapak said, “Our vision is to establish the FinX Employability Score as a single trusted number across the BFSI industry that indicates a candidate’s job readiness, identifies strengths and skill gaps, and highlights areas for improvement.”
The FinX Employability Score remains a stated ambition of the company, rather than an established industry standard.
Deepak Kumar Lalla, CEO, Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, said, “This partnership brings together complementary strengths in professional education and industry engagement, supporting our shared objective of strengthening the BFSI talent ecosystem by building a future ready banking workforce.”
The agreement brings together two organisations working in different parts of the financial services talent development process.
IIBF provides education, training, examinations and professional development programmes for banking and financial services professionals.
FinX operates an education and employment platform designed to develop, assess and connect learners and professionals with opportunities in the financial services industry.
FinX is also a promoter body of the BFSI Sector Skill Council.
Through the E3 platform, the organisations intend to offer IIBF candidates access to job opportunities and employment preparation resources while helping employers connect with candidates who have completed relevant financial services qualifications.
The collaboration reflects a shared focus on improving the transition from financial education to professional employment through industry engagement, candidate preparation and assessment of job readiness.
