Serene Communities concluded weeks of music, dance, art, literary events and sports with a Bengaluru finale held to mark World Senior Citizens’ Day
More than 2,700 senior residents participated in Tarang Utsav 2026, an annual inter community competition organised by Serene Communities by Columbia Pacific, a brand of Lifebridge Group.
The second edition of Tarang Utsav began on July 9, 2026, bringing together residents from Serene Communities across Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kanchipuram and Puducherry.
Over several weeks, seniors participated in virtual competitions covering music, dance, photography, painting, literary activities, indoor games and sports.
The festival concluded with a finale at Serene Amara in Bengaluru, held in connection with World Senior Citizens’ Day.
Artiste, actor and inventor Prakash Urs, known for his work in Prithvi, attended the finale and interacted with participants. Along with the Serene Communities leadership team, he felicitated winners across the competition categories.
The event focused on active participation and social interaction among senior residents while providing opportunities to pursue creative interests, sports and other activities.

Through arts, cultural activities, literary events, indoor games and sports, Tarang Utsav provided residents across the five cities with opportunities to participate, interact and pursue personal interests.
The 2026 edition brought together 2,700 residents from Serene Communities and concluded with recognition for participants across various competitive categories.
