Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Kia India, said demand for the new Seltos, Sonet, Carens Clavis and MY26 Syros supported the company’s first half growth.

Kia India recorded its best ever June wholesale performance with 24,552 units dispatched in June 2026, registering 19 percent year on year growth from 20,625 units in June 2025.
The company also reported its strongest first half performance since entering the Indian market, with 1,63,749 units dispatched between January and June 2026. This reflected 15.2 percent growth compared with 1,42,139 units in the same period last year.
Kia India said the performance was supported by demand across its portfolio of compact SUVs, mid size SUVs, recreational vehicles and electric mobility products.

Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Kia India, said, “Closing the first half of the year at a record high with best-ever June sales is a significant milestone for Kia India and reflects the trust customers continue to place in our brand. This performance has been driven by the sustained demand for the new Seltos, Sonet as well as Carens Clavis, while MY26 Syros has also received an encouraging response from customers.”
He added that existing Kia customers upgrading to the new Seltos reflected the product’s acceptance, while the Clavis EV continued to receive positive response supported by government policies for EV adoption and the company’s Battery as a Service programme.

The new Seltos continues to support Kia India’s mid size SUV presence with its design, connected technology and safety package. The model has received a 5 star Bharat NCAP rating.
The Sonet remained one of the company’s key volume contributors, while Carens and Clavis supported demand from family mobility and lifestyle customers. The MY26 Kia Syros also received positive customer response.
Kia India said the Clavis EV supports its long term focus on electric mobility and making premium EV technology more accessible to Indian customers.
The company currently has 892 touchpoints across 407 cities in India, along with 133 Certified Pre Owned outlets.
