Government Receives ₹1,553.50 Crore Dividend from Bank of India for FY26

Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director and CEO of Bank of India, presented the dividend cheque to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman after the bank reported ₹10,527 crore net profit for FY26.

Bank of India has handed over a dividend cheque of ₹1,553.50 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2025 to 2026.
The cheque, dated June 17, 2026, was presented on June 30, 2026, to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman by Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director and CEO of Bank of India. The presentation took place in the presence of Shalini Pandit, Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, and the four Executive Directors of Bank of India.

Bank of India had declared a dividend of ₹4.65 per equity share, equivalent to 46.50 percent, for the financial year 2025 to 2026.
For FY26, the bank reported a net profit of ₹10,527 crore, compared with ₹9,219 crore in FY25, reflecting a growth of 14.19 percent.
The dividend payment reflects Bank of India’s financial performance during the year and its return to shareholders, including the Government of India.
