Tea Post Café Led by Darshan Dashani Brings Diwali Closer to Home With Apne Jaha Utsav

From Ahmedabad to Jaipur, Tea Post cafés turn into festive hubs with chai, shayari, DIY workshops, and Diwali Baithaks, building a community-led celebration across India.

This Diwali, Tea Post the homegrown tea café brand founded by Darshan Dashani is lighting up hearts and cities with its heartwarming nationwide campaign Apne Jaha Utsav Waha. Turning its 250+ outlets across 60+ cities into vibrant community spaces, the initiative brings chai lovers together through a celebration of stories, flavours, and culture.

More than just décor, this campaign is about connection. From Ahmedabad to Jaipur, Tea Post cafés are being transformed into festive sanctuaries blending the timeless charm of chai with music, shayari, traditional snacks, and immersive workshops.
The idea is simple but powerful: wherever your people are, there’s always a reason to celebrate.

At the heart of this campaign lies the Diwali Baithak a series of free, open-to-all events that began in Ahmedabad on October 14 and are traveling through Rajkot, Surat, Jamnagar, and Jaipur, creating space for communities to share chai, make memories, and participate in lantern-making, diya painting, and more.
The cafes are also hosting multiple engagement-led activities across stakeholders customers, franchisees, employees, and vendors. Whether it’s the Chai Sang Rishte contest where patrons share their chai stories, or the Rishton Se Roshan celebrations led by franchisees, or even the Hamara Tea Post Tyohaar video contest for staff every layer of the brand’s ecosystem is involved.

Darshan Dashani, Founder of Tea Post, shared,
Apne Jaha Utsav Waha is rooted in the moments that make festivals meaningful being with your people. Tea Post has always been more than a café. It’s a place where relationships grow over every cup of chai. This Diwali, we’re celebrating that togetherness not just with customers, but with our entire community across cities.
Tea Post also honoured its vendors and landlords, recognising their contribution to the brand’s journey over the past 12 years. With over 15 signature chai varieties, paired with comfort snacks like samosas, maska buns, and theplas, Tea Post brings festive India closer to its chai ritual.
Select cafés in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Surat, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, and Vadodara are also hosting curated DIY workshops in candle-making, bookmarks, and ceramics to celebrate local creativity.
What began as a small tea initiative has grown into a cultural movement. Tea Post isn’t just brewing chai it’s brewing community. And this Diwali, that community is more luminous than ever.
