Five Asian Markets Enter Focus as Linkin Reps Launches New Outbound Travel Venture

Linkin South Asia begins operations on September 2 across Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea and Hong Kong, offering destination services directly to Indian travel agents and tour operators

Linkin Reps has expanded its outbound travel operations with the launch of Linkin South Asia, a new brand covering Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea and Hong Kong for Indian travel agents and tour operators.
Headquartered in New Delhi, Linkin South Asia commenced operations on September 2, 2026, with directly operated destination services across the five Asian markets.
The launch extends Linkin Reps’ existing work in travel representation, sales, marketing and destination development into direct outbound operations.
Through the new venture, the company will develop and operate its own destination capabilities, providing greater control over product development, destination knowledge and servicing for trade partners.

Komal Seth, Founder and Director, Linkin Reps, said, “We wanted to do something different in the destination management space, and in the process, we realised that the vendor supply gap was particularly large across these destinations. It took us a while to build the right foundation. Still, we have finally succeeded in developing and launching packages where we can offer competitive products while also delivering good margins to travel agents. For us, the objective has always been to create a proposition that works for both the traveller and the trade, with strong products, better servicing and a commercially viable model for our agent partners.”
According to the company, the launch follows several months of preparation focused on developing products and servicing processes for the Indian travel trade.

Linkin South Asia plans to use structured templates and product patterns to simplify bookings and reduce repeated communication between the company and travel agents.
The business will also focus on margins available to travel agents, with particular attention to ground transfers.
Its five destination portfolio combines Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea and Hong Kong across leisure, cultural, experiential and lifestyle travel segments.
The company identifies Hong Kong as an established destination among Indian travellers while seeing further opportunities to develop additional products and experiences around the market.

Linkin South Asia will follow a boutique, human led approach rather than relying primarily on online booking platforms.
Technology will support its operations, while destination knowledge, personalised communication, relationships and local expertise will remain central to its servicing model.
Amit Rai, Director of Sales, will head Linkin South Asia. According to the supplied information, Rai has 24 years of experience across B2B, B2C and MICE travel, including leadership experience at UDMC and roles with Cox & Kings, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Freedom Travel and Bluemoon Travel.

Namrata Grover, General Manager of Operations and Sales, will support the venture from New Delhi. She brings more than 14 years of experience spanning FIT, MICE, leisure, groups and corporate incentive travel, along with experience in operations, marketing, B2B network development and destination product training.
With Linkin South Asia, Linkin Reps is moving beyond representation and market development into directly operated destination services across the five Asian markets.
The venture will primarily serve Indian travel partners seeking structured destination products, direct servicing and destination expertise across Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea and Hong Kong.
