7Padel MS Dhoni Turns Koregaon Park Toward Padel Culture

The Koregaon Park venue features four padel courts and three pickleball courts, as Nikhil Sachdev, Co Founder, PadelPark India, said Pune’s strong sporting culture made it an important city for expansion.

Pune, 26 May 2026: 7Padel MS Dhoni by PadelPark India has opened its newest venue in Koregaon Park, Pune, adding the city to India’s growing padel and urban racquet sports ecosystem.
The venue was inaugurated by Honourable Shri Jay Ajit Dada Pawar and features four padel courts and three pickleball courts designed for competitive as well as recreational play. Located in one of Pune’s central lifestyle and community neighbourhoods, the facility is positioned as a sporting hub for residents across Koregaon Park, Kalyani Nagar and Viman Nagar.

7Padel MS Dhoni is the consumer facing brand of PadelPark India, which was co founded by Nikhil Sachdev, Ronak Daftary, Jigar Doshi and Pratik Doshi. The Pune venue brings the brand’s court network to a city with an established sporting culture and a growing base of fitness focused urban communities.
Padel combines elements of tennis and squash, with a doubles format, enclosed court structure and use of walls during play. Its quick learning curve and social format have made it popular among young professionals, recreational players and racquet sport enthusiasts.

The Pune launch comes as padel gains traction across Indian metro cities through tournaments, coaching programmes and community play. While Pune has already seen early interest in the sport, the Koregaon Park venue is aimed at building stronger awareness, accessibility and regular participation.

7Padel currently operates 54 courts across India, with Hyderabad set to be the next addition to its network. In Mumbai, padel has gained momentum through tournaments, coaching academies and a growing player community. Pune is now being positioned for a similar growth curve as the sport becomes part of India’s evolving urban sports culture.
