Leadership Change Announced at CII Telangana as Mr Goutham Reddy Mereddy Elected Chairman and Mr Gaurav Maheshwari Named Vice Chairman

Mr Goutham Reddy Mereddy, Vice Chairman of Re Sustainability Limited, will lead CII Telangana for 2026–27 while Mr Gaurav Maheshwari, Group President Asia Pacific at Signode, assumes the role of Vice Chairman.

Industry leadership at the Confederation of Indian Industry Telangana has undergone a transition with the election of new office bearers for the 2026–27 term.
Mr Goutham Reddy Mereddy, Vice Chairman of Re Sustainability Limited, has been elected as the Chairman of CII Telangana for the year 2026–27. Mr Gaurav Maheshwari, Group President Asia Pacific at Signode, has been elected as the Vice Chairman.
Mr Goutham Reddy Mereddy brings more than twenty seven years of experience across environmental services, waste management, infrastructure development and real estate. He began his professional career as an environmental scientist at the Environment Protection Training and Research Institute where he worked on research and consulting projects related to environmental improvement, including industrial hazardous waste and municipal solid waste management.

He later joined Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited, which has since been renamed Re Sustainability Limited. During his tenure, the organisation expanded its presence in environmental services and waste management. The company now operates more than eighty five facilities across over twenty three states in India and in around ten countries globally.
Under Mr Goutham Reddy Mereddy’s leadership, the organisation manages more than seven million tonnes of waste annually and has developed capabilities across biomedical waste management, hazardous waste treatment, municipal solid waste management and recycling services. The company has also developed integrated waste to energy facilities capable of converting large volumes of waste into power generation.

Mr Gaurav Maheshwari, who has been elected Vice Chairman of CII Telangana, is a Chartered Accountant with more than thirty years of professional experience spanning finance, commercial operations and general management.
He has spent over twenty five years with Signode, where he has been involved in several strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, supply chain efficiency, cost optimisation and organisational transformation. Prior to his current position, he led the commercial function for Signode India before assuming the role of Group President Asia Pacific in January 2021.

In his current role, Mr Gaurav Maheshwari oversees Signode’s operations across multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region and focuses on strategic direction, operational performance and long term value creation.
With their election, CII Telangana is expected to continue its engagement with industry stakeholders in the state while focusing on economic growth, sustainability and industrial development initiatives.
