Netizens are perplexed after a massive explosion at a UK railway station

After watching the video, netizens were taken aback.

A big explosion following a fire at a train station in Southampton, UK, has left residents perplexed as it lit up the sky. The blast footage, which depicts a blue night sky lighting orange, white, and blue, has gone viral on social media.

According to the BBC, the fire started on Monday after many kids tossed a scooter into the rails. After receiving information, British Transport Police (BTP) and firefighters arrived at the scene at 8 p.m., and BTP told the BBC that the scooter had been found. However, despite a search, the children were not found.

“St Denys railway station… “No idea why, honestly believed the aliens had returned for Fallon Carrington…,” the video’s caption stated.

After watching the video, netizens were taken aback. “I felt my heart stop for a moment when my entire window turned white!” “I’m curious what triggered it,” one user said.

The BBC described a neighborhood homeowner, Helen Trimarco Ransome, stating, “It sounded like a bomb had gone off.” While the firefighters were inspecting the line, another resident “flagged down an oncoming train,” according to Ransome.

According to Ben Duursma, a 21-year-old student who witnessed the explosion, he was sitting on his bed when the sky lit up. “I mistook it for a load of pyrotechnics.” It was dazzling white and orange with a cloud of smoke—it was difficult to explain since it was so vivid. “We could see the grass colors, and it appeared to be daytime,” he added.

“Police arrived quite fast, and I believe I heard fire engines immediately after.”
