#GoodJobMumbai: Mumbai Police laud their beautiful city

On the occasion of World Compliment Day, which is commemorated on March 1 every year, the law enforcement agency tweeted a series of compliments for the city and its citizens.

The Mumbai police department began the new month by praising the city and the people they serve. To commemorate World Compliment Day, the law enforcement agency tweeted appreciation for tiny but significant acts of compassion and responsibility the city’s residents displayed in their daily lives.

“Mumbai, today is World Compliment Day.” We may be at a loss for words to adequately compliment you, but you mean the world to us. You are correct. There is a thread. The police department tweeted, “#GoodJobMumbai #WorldComplimentDay #WhatACopSees.”

In the ensuing tweet thread, the police department praised a slew of people who look after stranded animals or provide water to thirsty traffic cops. “The law-abiding individual who presented a stolen wallet to the police station.” You’ve ‘found’ your way into the world’s good graces. Continue your good work! It said, “#GoodJobMumbai #WorldComplimentDay #WhatACopSees.”

The uplifting and funny thread is swiftly gaining likes and retweets on Twitter.
It is not the first time the city’s police force has shown its devotion. On Valentine’s Day in 2019, the city’s police department published a video on Twitter showcasing its police officers who stated their favorite items and places here. In the video, the police department refers to Mumbai as “their first and only love.”
