According to sources, Sumona has landed a new travel program named Shonar Bengal on Zee Entertainment’s lifestyle channel Zee Zest. She has been chosen to host the 10-part travelogue that will explore the prosperous state of Bengal and its lesser-known stories. Someone couldn’t hide her joy when the crew approached her with the invitation to be a part of the program.
Sumona stated of presenting the travel show, “I had an opportunity to analyze the state and solve the stories that have been a part of my youth, albeit from a distance.” This concert allowed me to get up and personal with them for the first time. It’s been weird and a terrific learning experience for me to engage with folks from various ethnic backgrounds. Bengal’s exceptional beauty never ceases to amaze me. I consider myself honored to be a part of the performance.”
“When the folks at Zee Zest contacted out, I instantly felt this was something I would want to be a part of,” she continued. I’ve always wanted to travel and discover new places.
