Elon Musk’s proposal for Twitter’s headquarters astounds netizens

Notably, 91% of voters approved, while only 9% opposed.

On Sunday, Elon Musk, Twitter Inc’s largest shareholder, stunned netizens when he posted several suggestions for the microblogging platform. While suggesting changes to Twitter Blue premium subscription services, Elon Musk also joked that the company’s headquarters in San Francisco should be converted into a homeless shelter. He made a joke about how no one ever shows up.

With 15 hours until the polls close, 10 lakh votes have been cast. Notably, 91% of voters approved, while only 9% opposed.

While some users were perplexed by Musk’s post’s intent and offered suggestions, others found it amusing and shared memes.

He also listed the top ten most followed Twitter accounts, noting that most of these “top” accounts tweet infrequently and post little content. Former US President Barack Obama, singer Justin Bieber, and Musk were all on the list.
Musk recently disclosed a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter, making him the company’s largest shareholder. Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has 81.2 million followers on Twitter, tweeted about Twitter Blue, saying, “Everyone who signs up for Twitter Blue (i.e., pays $3/month) should get an authentication checkmark.”
