Škoda Auto Volkswagen India welcomes Bentley to its portfolio; launches Bentley India under Abbey Thomas

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited formalises entry of Bentley into its group portfolio; Bentley India formed as new entity under SAVWIPL with nationwide sales and service network beginning in July 2025.

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has announced the strategic addition of Bentley, the iconic British ultra-luxury brand, into its Indian operations. Effective 01 July 2025, SAVWIPL will exclusively import, distribute, market, and service Bentley vehicles across India. This milestone makes Bentley the sixth marque in the SAVWIPL portfolio alongside Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Lamborghini, and Porsche.
To operationalise this integration, SAVWIPL has established a new group entity, Bentley India, to manage all brand responsibilities within the country. This includes local market strategy, retail operations, customer experience, and post-sale service support.

Abbey Thomas has been appointed as the Brand Director of Bentley India, and will lead the marque’s market development and dealership strategy. Initial dealerships are confirmed in Bengaluru and Mumbai, with New Delhi expected to launch shortly thereafter.
