The lockdown mode in 2020 was the; most spent in making plans of post-pandemic.
We all had dreams of picnics, long drives, and a family get-together. Which again has to see the cage. An increasing number of covid cases had forced the central and state government to imply strict lockdown at night. SSC, JEE, and CET examinations are postponed due to the decisions made. Many youngsters had pans for an outing after exams.
Some had to go to their natives for a long trip. Growing kids are still eager for the schools to reopen—the one who hasn’t yet experienced the outdoor fun. Every individual is hoping for a better tomorrow. youngsters had plans for their bachelor party. Kids had plans to ride their new bicycles. Grandparents are still waiting for the flights and trains to arrive from the city. Since last year it is hoped to celebrate vacations together and every festival with great honor.
In the beginning, the lockdown was spent with the family watching Ramayan and Mahabharat. I had great fun during the opening. Nobody knew that it would last more than a year and ruin our lives like hell. Marriage ceremonies don’t seem to be enjoyable. Nobody knew that we’d have to meet our dear ones on a virtual screen.
Games have been lost in the world of digital media. We miss our childhood. The complete lockdown has been spent making plans, what can be done after everything gets normal. We miss the sun in which we traveled with sweat. We miss the rain and the colorful umbrellas which were carried during the monsoon. This year was spent across the window and balcony watching the moon and stars. I hope this ends soon.
