CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy pays tribute to police martyrs on police commemoration day

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has assured that all our soldiers are police. On the occasion of Police Martyrs Commemoration Day, he participated in the celebrations organized at the Vijayawada Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium on Friday morning.

On this occasion, CM YS Jagan received the salute on behalf of the AP Police. Later in his speech, on the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Day, CM YS Jagan announced that on behalf of the people of AP and the government, he salutes the martyrs and the families of the policemen who made sacrifices.

It was announced on this occasion that eleven policemen from AP were martyred in the line of duty during the last year.

CM YS Jagan has once again informed that his government will stand by the family members who laid down their lives for society in the performance of duty.

To reduce the pressure on the police, CM YS Jagan has clarified that the replacement of police appointments has been taken up.

In addition to the filling of 6,511 posts in the police department, it has been informed that the process of reservation for the filling of home guards is going to be initiated.

CM YS Jagan has informed that the changes in the police system in his government. Disha app and Disha police stations are part of it.

He reminded that 1.33 crore sisters have downloaded the Disha app so far and 16 thousand women police officers have been appointed in the police department.

CM YS Jagan informed that our government has shown sincerity by appointing women and Dalits as ministers in the home department.

CM YS Jagan made it clear that the government will always stand by the downtrodden sections. He informed that preference will be given on weekly off for the police department, but due to a lack of staff, it has been found that it is not being implemented to the full extent, so the jobs are being replaced.

CM YS Jagan assured on this occasion that all the problems of the police personnel will be resolved without fail.
